When a strategy won't start, or stops on its own
Updated August 23, 2026
First open "Strategy Log" in the strategy details, where the specific reason is stated. The common causes fall into these groups:
1. Won't start right after creation
- Insufficient available balance: Your exchange account doesn't have enough of the quote currency (such as USDT).
- Funds in the wrong wallet: A spot strategy's funds are in the futures wallet (or vice versa) → you need to transfer them to the matching wallet.
- Funds locked in savings: Funds were moved into savings/locked holdings (unavailable) → redeem them first.
- Account not yet activated: Activate it on the "Assets" page first.
- Amount too small, right at the limit: The per-grid/first-order amount is below the exchange's minimum order size → increase the total investment.
2. Stops/pauses automatically while running
- Consecutive order rejections: Triggers the auto-pause protection (usually due to balance or market conditions).
- Risk control block: Exceeds the position or order-frequency limit.
- Stop-loss triggered: The loss reached the stop-loss level you set, and the strategy exited.
How to resume after fixing it
Once you've resolved the cause:
- A paused strategy → tap "Resume" to continue.
- A stopped strategy → create/start a new round.
Not sure about pause vs. stop? See "What's the Difference Between Pause and Stop".
