Placing an order yourself
Updated August 23, 2026
On the "Trade" page you can buy and sell manually, deciding the timing yourself, without going through a strategy.
Market order / limit order
- Market order: fills immediately at the current best market price. Use it when you want to buy or sell right away.
- Limit order: you set your own price, and it only fills when the price is reached, so it may not fill immediately.
Buy / sell
- Buy: buy the asset using a quote currency (such as USDT).
- Sell: sell the asset you hold back into the quote currency.
How to place an order
- Select the trading pair, then choose market or limit
- Enter the quantity (for a limit order, also enter the price)
- Confirm the direction, then tap Buy or Sell
- Check fills and open orders under "Position / Orders"
Risk note: cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and you may lose all of the funds you commit. Profits from manual trading are also subject to a service fee (see "Trading Fees and Service Fee Explained").
