What happens when Credits run out
Updated September 18, 2026
What happens if my Credit balance runs out?
Your strategies do not stop immediately. They enter a reduced mode.
Balance reaches zero
- Strategies stop opening new positions
- Strategies continue to manage and close existing positions
- You will be notified to purchase Credits
Balance goes negative
- Strategies remain in reduced mode
- Service fees from closing transactions continue to accrue as an outstanding balance
- Outstanding fees are automatically deducted from your next Credit purchase
Why we do not stop strategies completely
Stopping a strategy entirely would leave your open positions unmanaged. In reduced mode your strategy can still take profit and exit positions, so you are never locked into a position because of an unpaid balance.
To restore full operation, purchase Credits from Assets → Credits.
